South Texas Cowboy Gathering &
Western Music Festival

A Celebration of Our Western Heritage & the American Cowboy

Step into the real Texas by attending the May 3rd and 4th South Texas Cowboy Gathering & Western Music Festival in Seguin, Texas.

The Texas Jamm Band featuring legendary members of George Strait’s “Ace in the Hole Band” will headline a one-of-a-kind Show & Dance on Saturday evening, May 4th.  These iconic band members tour with George Strait and will bring the Texas Dancehall / Concert / George Strait experience to our event. Their two-hour show will showcase some of the finest musicians in the world playing Classic Country, Top 40 Country, Original Music, Texas Country, songs they have written for other artists, a touch of Western Swing and Cajun music, and a healthy “dose” of George Strait hits. You definitely will want to Texas two-step and dance the night away or just sit back and enjoy the concert.

Since George Strait retired from regular touring, the Texas Jamm Band has become even more special because it is the only place a venue can still get the George Strait experience with true “Ace in the Hole Band” members and the authentic George Strait sound. Don’t miss this Show & Dance featuring iconic and award-winning Band Members who are all sought after studio musicians, record producers, mentors, and consultants to many projects. Like a fine wine or a priceless string of pearls — Timeless and Classic coupled with Texas Perfection — The Texas Jamm Band is the ultimate musical experience. Bringing a band of this caliber to our Western Music Festival is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.

This two-day Western Music Festival kicks-off at 7:00 pm on Friday, May 3rd at the campfire with biscuits and beans and performances by award-winning singers and songwirters including Trinity Seely from Montana, Gary Allegretto from California, Mikki Daniel from New Mexico, Allan Chapman & Rodeo Kate from Benjamin, Texas, “Straw” Berry from Oklahoma, Jim Jones from New Mexico, Mike Blakely from the Texas Hill Country, and Alex Harvey who wrote “Delta Dawn”, “Reuben James”, “Arms of an Angel” and many other hit songs. Alex Harvey’s ability to tell a story through his songs has put him in a class among the greatest songwriters of all time plus created some of the biggest crossover hits ever. His music has sold over 300 million records, and more than 100 major artists have recorded his songs including Kenny Rogers, Waylon Jennings, Dusty Springfield, Billy Ray Cyrus, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dottie West, Willie Nelson, Bette Midler, Tanya Tucker, Alan Jackson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Andy Williams, Perry Como, The Statler Brothers, Henry Mancini, Peggy Lee, Chris LeDeoux, Jimmy Buffet, Merle Haggard, and on and on. Joining this line-up of highly acclaimed performers will be Seguin’s very own Tin Roof that is fast becoming a sought after band in the cowboy genre.
